The Island Fest Makers Market is curated by University of Hawai’i All-American volleyball players and Super Model Jason Olive. As the first NCAA athlete to secure NIL rights, Jason became a fashion icon, working with the biggest names in fashion and gracing the covers of the world’s most important fashion magazines while leading the Bows to their first Final Four appearance. In 2001 Jason produced what is considered to be be the first large scale sustainable-fashion show in America, welcoming hundreds of brands and over 36 labels to the runway to the Dallas Convention Center in 2001.

“There is nothing more sustainable, more modern than indigenous art and lifestyle. Shakespeare wrote, “What’s past is prologue.” The marriage of modern technology and indigenous wisdom is something King Kamehameha himself was passionate about. We are very excited to introduce our volleyball guests, who travel from all over the world to compete, to a new conceptualization of a tournament vendor experience. We are focused on the art and luxury of Hawai’i’s island creators and we are reimagining the tournament spectator experience to introduce the best in island art and design in a fun and accessible way.
